Parent Training is an integral part of supporting the clients. This gives the parent and other caregivers the opportunity to discuss how ABA is going as well as learn how to help their child generalize the skills they are learning during their 1:1 ABA therapy sessions. Parent training occurs monthly usually after or during the ABA session with and without their child present. The BCBA provides all of the direct parent training!
Social skills groups sessions are designed to help improve their social communication and interaction skills. ABA techniques are used to break down social skills into smaller, manageable steps and reinforce positive behaviors. We teach how to interact appropriately with peers, understand social cues, and develop communication skills in various social settings.
Our trained clinicians are ready to support and advocate for you and your child during IEP, 504 plan meetings and other medical team meetings in Portland, Beaverton and Gresham area to ensure that your child is getting the support they need as well as for other professionals to learn strategies that your child has success with.
Our administrative staff has several years of experience working with insurance providers in covering ABA services, as well as providing guidance to OHP/Medicaid for covering secondary payments. Please note that Medicaid has its own requirements for providing insurance. ABA therapy is covered by most Insurances, and we have contracts with most major networks in the region.
We always provide parent training according to your child's treatment plan during ABA therapy.
We support all families in communication with insurance to receive the quickest authorization for ABA therapy services.
